# Toggling Between Staging and Production

After you have successfully logged in to SDP, the dashboard will default to the **Staging environment**, showing all your entity's staging apps.

To **switch environments**, click the **environment toggle** at the top of the page:

* “Working with mock data in Staging”
* “Working with live data in Production”

This allows you to easily move between the **Staging** (test) and **Production** (live) environments.
