Managing Drafts
Overview
Drafts allow you to save an incomplete app creation and return to finish it later. Progress is saved automatically as you work, so you do not need to complete app creation in a single session.
Accessing your drafts
Your drafts appear at the top of your dashboard when you log in to SDP. Only drafts you created are visible to you — drafts created by other members of the same entity are not shown.
How drafts work
Auto-save: Your progress is saved automatically as you fill in each step. There is no manual save required. While a save is in progress, a "Saving..." indicator is shown in the form; once complete, it changes to show when the draft was last saved.
Multiple drafts: You can have more than one draft open for the same product at the same time.
Resuming a draft: Select a draft from your dashboard to continue where you left off.
Deleting a draft: To remove a draft manually, select the draft from your dashboard and choose Delete.
Draft expiry
Drafts expire after 30 days of inactivity. Once expired, the draft is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
To help you track this:
The expiry countdown for each draft is displayed on the draft card in SDP.
You will receive an email notification 7 days before a draft expires.
Expired drafts cannot be recovered. If you receive an expiry reminder, review and submit your app accordingly before the deadline to avoid losing your progress.
